About

Finding out you are allergic to milk can be freeing (at least you know what is causing you to feel poorly), yet disappointing (no more ice cream, milkshakes, pancakes, etc). I avoided many of my favorite foods for years. I would look for recipes that used oil instead of butter, or juice instead of milk, but it just wasn’t enough. During a creative burst, I began experimenting and found some alternative ways to make everyday favorites that I want to share with you.

Enjoy!

Susan

  1. yay! thank you. I hope that now my family won’t fight me so hard when I get on my humans-are-the-only-mammals-who continue-to-consume-milk-after-breastfeeding soapbox.
